3 publicationsPhysico-Chemical Investigation of Quality of Drinking Water Affected by Ganapati Visarjan in Maharashtra, India
The object of this work was to study the quality of drinking water from rivers in selected area of Amravati district of Maharashtra, India. This paper is intended to be a study concerning with surface water quality in various river affected by Ganapati Visarjan. While monitoring samples were collected in September 2015 from sampling sites before Ganapati Visarjan and after Ganapati Visarjan to evaluate relative differences in Physicochemical properties of river water such as Turbidity, Silica, Hardness, COD, TDS, DO, Phosphate, Alkalinity, Sulphate, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cl-, etc. The results are compared with standards of World Health Organisation (WHO), United States Public Drinking water Standard (USPH) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
To Study Application of Different Isotherm Models on Bismuth (III) Ions Adsorption onto Impregnated Granular Activated Charcoal
Adsorption has been proved to be an excellent way to treat industrial waste effluents, offering significant advantages like the low-cost, availability, profitability, easy of operation and efficiency. In this paper four parameter isotherm model namely Langmuir, three parameters namely Freundlich and Temkin were applied to describe the isotherm and to calculate their constant. The best estimation of the parameters of these models by non-linear regression analysis was obtained. A comparison between four and three parameters isotherm was reported. The characteristic parameter of each isotherm and related coefficient of determination (R2) have been determined. All the coefficient of determination (R2) of the non-linear method are close to unity. The effect of various parameters influencing the Bi(III) adsorptions such as effect of pH, Contact time, temperature, adsorbent dose have been studied. Maximum adsorption found to be 81.13 at pH 1. The results indicate that surface modification with N-Lauroylsarcosine sodium salt (NLSSS) could be used to significantly enhance the capacity of granulated activated charcoal to adsorb Bi(III) metal ion.
Assessment of Physico-Chemical Status of Ground Water Taken from Different Sites of Nagpur District and Amravati District, Maharashtra, India
This paper is intended to be a study concerning with surface water quality in Nagpur city Ambazari Dam (India) and Amravati District (India) area dam. While monitoring samples were collected in February 2015 from sampling sites to evaluate relative differences in Physico-chemical properties of Dam Water, Boar Well such as Turbidity, Silica, Hardness, COD, TDS, DO, Phosphate, Alkalinity, Sulphate, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cl-, etc . The results are compared with standards of World Health Organisation (WHO), United States Public Drinking water Standard (USPH) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). A systematic correlation study showed significant linear relationship among different pairs of water quality parameters.

1 publicationEco-Friendly Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of N-[7-(5-Substitutedimino-3-Amino)-1,2,4-Dithiazo-4-Yl]-N,N-Diethyl-Pentane-1,4-Diamine
Heteroacyclic and Heterocyclic containing drugs showed remarkable and noticeable drug absorption, transmission and drug effects; hence they created their own identity and importance in pharmaceutical, medicinal, agricultural and drug sciences. Benzonido and pyridino, dithiazolo, quinolino and alkylamino heterocycles showed important applications in industrial, pharmaceutical, medicinal and drug chemistry. Considering all these facts into consideration recently in this laboratory interaction of N-(7-chloroquinoline-4-yl)-N,N-diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamine (1) was carried out with thiourea (2) in ethanol medium to isolate N-(7-thiocarbamidoquinoline-4-yl)-N,N-diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamines (3). N-(7-thiocarbamido quinoline-4-yl)-N,N-diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamines on further interactions with various isothiocynates (4) in acetone-ethanol medium produces N-[7-(1- substituted) -2,4-dithiobiureto)-4-yl]-N,N-diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamine (5) which were successfully oxidatively cyclised into N-[7-(5-substitutedimino-3-amino)-1,2,4-dithiazo-4-yl]-N,N-diethyl-pentane-1,4-diamine (6) these reactions are hither to unknown. The justification and identification of the structure of these newly synthesized compounds had been established on the basis of chemical characterization, elemental analysis and through spectral data.
